18th century console table restoration

the above console table was painted in tempera (light pink) to hide different paint coats that had to be removed
gradual removal of tempera and paint it hided
rebuilding of the lower part of the legs that lost their original shape
assembling of the new console table top and restoration of the base for tempera
first coat of egg tempera
decoration restoration,coating with brown wax, shaping and marbling of the top (it was possible to have the real shape of the original top because the owner of the console copied the shape before to throw it away).
